Antibiotics increases the risk of eczema

 A new study in the UK discovered, the child antibiotics in the first year of life, the increased risk of eczema by 40%, according to the Daily Mail 20/6.

The team in England under King's College, University of Nottingham and Aberdeen Royal Hospital reviewed 20 studies with about 293,000 infants and young children.

This is the first review of large scale and systematic relationship between the use of antibiotics in the first year of life of children and the risk of eczema.

They found that children who received antibiotics in the first year of life is increased by 40% the risk of eczema, especially broad-spectrum antibiotics more pronounced impact.

You should consider when giving to children under 1 year old antibiotics, particularly children whose family history of eczema or allergies, according to Dr. Carsten Flohr, a member of the research team.
